1892-98 - HAMBURG FORGERIES: c1935 collection of ungummed, imperf Rivadavia (4) & Belgrano (90) values, showing different shades from each value from 5c(4), 10c, 12c(3), 15c, 16c(7), 24c(17), 30c(18), 50c (30) & 80c (13). No duplication although there are some shades only slightly different! A super lot for the specialist. (These were first mentioned in the Knietschel catalogue in 1943) [US2] [Estimate price: £78.00]

1892-98 - ½c & 1c Rivadavia & 12c Belgrano in imperf forgery blocks of 4 in various shades. ½c (16 blocks), 1c (12 blocks) & 12c (17 blocks). Nearly all different shades/colours and no gum. These were known as the Hamburg forgeries as they came onto the market in the 1930's in Hamburg, apparently printed in Italy? Lovely stamps. Great display material.!
