Auction 336 has 3,653 lots, catering for all types of collectors & dealers - from bulk accumulations and intact collections to desirable single items. This auction offers a huge range of material, with special emphasis on lotting stamps to cater for collectors with varying types of interests and budgets.  Items range from $30 to $80,000 so there's something for everybody. This auction offers strong representation of Australia & Colonies, strong British Empire material of all areas & periods, as well as General Foreign including small and large collections. There are nearly 300 lots of Australian Collections (Lots 58-320) and well over 600 lots of World collections (Lots 321-889).

Following on there is over 800 lots of Australia which consist of singles, sets and covers including Australian colonies (Lots 920-1790). The Australian lots cover all periods, from the Kangaroo issues up to Decimal and contains numerous number of mint & used £1 & £2 top values - this includes a First Watermark 1d Red Die I imperf PLATE PROOF JBC Monogram blk of 6 on thick buff manila paper, with part offset on reverse inc monogram. VF UN as made. SG 2(p). ACSC 2PP(1)A, monogram unlisted. Only 2 proof monograms known, the other is Die II, so this the unique Die I proof monogram. Major kangaroo 1d rarity. 2017 Ceremuga AIEP photo-cert.(Lot 938).

There are almost 1,800 lots of World stamps, covers and single country collections (Lots 1791-3653) with the British Empire well represented, highlighted by a 1907 small Papua opt Lakatoi 2/6 black & brown, error opt VERTICAL reading DOWN, horiz wmk. Stamp superb fresh MUH, pristine never hinged original gum, UL cnr marginal. SG 37a cat £7500 for M, should be at least double, £15,000 MUH, plus premium for cnr marginal. Great rarity as only 1 sheet of 30 existed & due to vert vs horiz format some stamps only had partial opts while this is most desirable in having a full opt in middle.
