Auction 325 has 3,836 lots, catering for all types of collectors & dealers - from bulk accumulations and intact collections to desirable single items. This auction offers a huge range of material, with special emphasis on lotting stamps to cater for collectors with varying types of interests and budgets.  Items range from $30 to $80,000 so there's something for everybody.

This auction offers strong representation of Australia & Colonies, strong British Empire material of all areas & periods, as well as General Foreign including small and large collections. There are almost 300 lots of Australian Collections (Lots 69-337) and well over 350 lots of World collections (Lots 338-779). Following on there is almost 1100 lots of Australia which consist of singles, sets and covers including Australian colonies (Lots 790-1835). The Australian lots cover all periods, from the Kangaroo issues up to Decimal and contains numerous number of mint & used £1 & £2 top values - this includes a First Watermark £2 Black & rose. Superb PO fresh MUH with pristine never hinged original gum & lovely vibrant colours, SG 16 cat £6500+ for M, should be triple $19,500 for MUH. ACSC 55 cat $30,000+ while retail for such a beautiful stamp would be much higher. Premium quality stamp (Lot 815). There are 2,000 lots of World stamps, covers and single country collections (Lots 1836-3836) with the British Empire well represented, highlighted by British Central Africa 1896 Arms £25 green & black, wmk crown CC. Superb fresh MLH, excellent centring, pristine original gum with only slightest hinge mark, fully intact perfs & bright colours - believed to be the best quality example in existence (most other examples of this stamp are regummed or reperfed, or worse). SG 42 cat £26,000++. Major high value rarity as £25 was a fortune in those days (25 gold sovereigns!), so virtually nobody could afford to keep such a mint stamp. Important high value British Empire rarity. Exp Alberto Diena & Alberto Bolaffi, plus 1971 Dr Giulio Bolaffi photo-cert (Lot 1947). A good range of China.
