Venezuela Outgoing Mail 1805, Nov. 3. Entire letter from Caracas to Puerto de la Orotava (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain), directly carried by the "Santo Christo del Grao" boat, cleanly struck by "Caracas" straight-line handstamp. Docket of receipt in January 1806. This very fresh entire represents one of the few examples of transatlantic mail emanating from Venezuela.

Venezuela Outgoing Mail 1809, Feb. 16. Entire letter from La Guayra to Puerto de la Orotava (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain), conveyed by the "Barcelonés" brigantine as indicated in manuscript at lower left, graced by delightful strike of the "Guayra" straight-line handstamp. A remarkable entire crossing the Atlantic from Venezuela, with few items recorded.

Venezuela Outgoing Mail 1810 circa. Folded cover including part of the missive, addressed from Caracas to Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain), endorsed "Barca Lorenza" ("Lorenza" boat), neatly handstamped on dispatch with Italic "Caracas.", rated "5R" with red marking, to be collected from the addressee. A very desirable example among the few transatlantic letters known originating from Venezuela.

Venezuela Outgoing Mail 1813, March 3. Entire letter including printed matter from Puerto Cabello to Veracruz (Mexico), bearing "P.Cavello" straight-line handstamp (first type), transmitted by the "Galga" postal schooner as per endorsement at left, being unpaid on dispatch and with "3" reales due marking for the single rate. Colonial mail originating from Puerto Cabello is rare; this item is further enhanced by being sent abroad.

Venezuela Outgoing Mail 1822, Aug. 4. Entire letter from Guaira to Corunna, carried by the "Relámpago" brig, paying single postage with "5Rs." marking and "Islas De/Barlovento" two-line handstamp (P.E. 5) on arrival. Worm holes inside and some soiling, nevertheless a very rare transatlantic entire from Venezuela with this postmark.

Cover (one back flap missing at left) from Puerto Cabello addressed to the General Commander of the Navy in the Harbour of Havana (Cuba), apparently with no involvement of the Venezuelan mails, directly entering the British Consular P.O., displaying a bold strike of "Paid/At/Porto Cabello" crowned circle, with matching double-arc datestamp on reverse, alongside with same St. Thomas...

Venezuela 1864, Sept. 8. Entire letter from Puerto Cabello to General Paris at Bogotá, being privately forwarded to St. Thomas, where it was consigned to the British P.O. with red "St-Thomas/Paid" c.d.s. and charged at "4" pence inter-West Indies rate in manuscript, placed on board the RMS "Tyne" steamship sailing to Cartagena, then taxed for the single weight with "10" centavos marking in red. A very scarce and interesting usage.
