Romanian Ship cancellations. 10c. Austrian PS, which was not accepted from Romanian postal authorities and the 10c. was indicated by pencil and cancelled with linear "SERVICIUL MARITIM ROMAN", cancelled with maritime "ALEXANDRIA-CONSTANTA*21 AUG. 909" and "T" (tax) and on arrival taxed with 10bani postage due and cancelled with "BACAU*23 AUG. 909". The overall result is an EXTREMELY scarce item of Levant postal history.
