Lot #20539 - Tibet - Forgeries
1938 Set of the 1933 issue in perforated sheets, horizontally laid paper, first appeared in 1938 and were originally thought to be a genuine issue, very rare in complete sheets
Waterfall who had studied this issue in great detail (pp149-51 (1961ed) and pp155-57 (1980ed)) had not seen sheets of the three higher values when he first published his classic work
