1895 25c red brown and black, center inverted, neat Montevideo cds, usual irregular perfs, fresh and fine stamp, signed Brun, with Pascal Scheller certificate. It is believed that only 40 examples were sold at a post office counter before the error was discovered, and the remaining copies were destroyed. Of the 40 that were used, only a small percentage were recovered and saved, making this an exceptionally rare error (YT 109a, Euro 2,750)...
