Welcome to our November 1-2 Auction, to be held at our New York City galleries. This sale contains 1,032 lots of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World, with United States and Europe, including Austria, France and Colonies, Italy and Colonies, Poland, Russia and other areas.  Great Britain and British Commonwealth are well represented with many high values and sets covering all reigns from Aden to Zanzibar.  South American philately features Colombia, Honduras and Nicaragua; Asia includes material from China and Japan.  There are also a significant number of lots from Egypt, as well as specialized Israel, with many complete sheets and Interim Period. A fine selection of Iran includes high value singles, sets and postal stationery, all accompanied by Persiphila certificates.  There are also rare booklets of the world featured throughout.  This sale concludes with 100+ large lots and collections, which range from single country albums to a specialized collections and multi-carton worldwide stocks and cover lots.
