Lebanon French office. Cover sent from Beirut on 28 Fevrier 1888 to Malta via the French and the Egyptian Post Office of Port Said. Franked for 1 Piastre by Yvert n 4 with the ¾ vertical of the overprint missing, killed by the double "Daguin" (Cedar cat. fig 45). Remarkable error caused by the presence of a foreign object in the upper part of the overprinting's area. VERY RARE, SPECTACULAR OCCASIONAL ERROR, NOT RECORDED BY ANY CATALOG.

Lebanon French, cover sent from Beirut on 3/3/1914 type H cancel (fig. 46 Cedar catalog), to Germany. Franked with 1 Piastre stamp with double overprint (Yvert France Levant n. 17a). RARE ON COVER.
Lot #125 - LEBANON ERROR STAMPS USED ON COVER
Lebanon error used on cover. Registered letter sent from Beirut on 29/3/1924 to Bordeaux, France. Franked back side by 5 Piastres stamp with error "PIASTRHS" in the overprint. Not recorded by Kaczmarczyk, the error due to the wear of the typo-character, is supposed to have been discovered and immediately replaced. RARE.

Lebanon error used on cover. Registered letter sent from Beirut on 3/10/1924 to Montreal, Canada. Franked with three strip of four and a pair of 0,50P on bridge and 1P on strip. Several small varieties of commas, points etc. RARE AND "COLD" DESTINATION.

Lebanon error used, vertical pair of 7,50/2,50P. In the up stamp variety with arabic "7" in small font and in the down stamp error fraction in arabic without "1". The first variety recorded by Kaczmarczyk but not the error on the down stamp. RARE COMBINATION.

Lebanon, cover unsent with cancel Beyrouth RP 28/10/1929, franked with two tax due stamps overprinted. 1P (Maury T. n. 22A) and 2P on "SYRIE" tax due stamp overprinted "Republique Libanaise" bilingual in red. The second, was originated from the sheet of Syria tax due stamp overprinted by mistake with red bilingual "Republique Libanaise". RARE THE FIRST STAMP (Maury n T 22A), UNRECORDED THE SECOND. FOR BIG COLLECTOR.
