Stampless envelope written from Upolu dated 'Sept 23rd 1843' addressed to London routed via Sydney with oval 'Paid Ship Letter/Sydney' in red on face 'Nov 15' with London receiver on reverse, charged m/s '8' for the ship letter and rated '3' in red m/s. Very nice early missionary letter from Samoa. Scarce.
