1890 QV "1 ANNA" on 2d. grey-green & carmine and "4 ANNAS" on 5d. dull purple and blue, used, the 1a. cancelled by part strike of squared cds, the 4a. with "MOMBASA/A/MY 9/95" cds, the 1a. with a slightly thinned area on back and of somewhat unfresh appearance, otherwise a fresh and fine pair. "INLAND REVENUE" (Barefoot #14) used and cancelled by full strike of squared "LAMU/My 14/96" c.d.s., with some stamps toned (more or less) but still good to fine.

British East Africa Registered postal stationery card 1a red upgraded with SG 68, 21/2a deep blue mixed with Uganda SG 84, 1a scarlet (2) tied by Entebbe date stamp 'Jy 26' with hand-struck boxed 'R/Entebbe', routed via Mombasa with 'Foreign Registration Department/Mombasa' date stamp '3 Aug' addressed to Germany with München receiver in blue. Lovely item with hand-painted Zebra on reverse.

Stampless envelope headed 'Prisoner of War' written from Ahmednagar Camp with framed 'Passed Censor/16 Jan 1918' in violet addressed to East Usamhera, East Africa with 'Opened/Under/Martial Law' censor label tied by circular 'Passed Censor/C/E.A.' and Tanga transit '21 Dec 18'. Nice item of censored mail.
