Envelope written from the 'Consulat de France a Suez' with (consul seal on reverse and face in blue) addressed to Paris bearing French 'Empire' Yvert 22, 20c blue carried by diplomatic bag and cancelled by '2240' in lozenge of Marseille '15th Juil 68' and returned with circular 'Rebut' date stamp in red on reverse '20th Juil' with instructional 'Retour a L'Envoyeur' in red on face and returned via Marseille. Scarce item.
