TIBETAN-NEPALESE WAR (1858-61), 1915./7/6/ Bikram Sabat.(= August 1858) field cover sent by major captain Maha Rudra Khatri (a member of the the Khatri family) from the Nepal-Tibet border (northern side of Nepal) to the Prince Commanding General Sir Jagat Shamsher Jung Kunwar Rana which was the commander of South Nepal and one of the five commanding persons at the second level of the Rana Era Hierarchy. Nice negative seal on reverse.
