"E.C./70" duplex for FE 13, 1880 to cover to Shanghai/China. Endorsed "Via Brindisi 13.2.80", on reverse transit "HONG KONG B MR 19 1880". A spectacular and rare franking.

1897 Cover from the French Army Corps in Shanghai to Marseille, franked with 10c. (pair and single) and 20c. of French P.O. in China 1894 issue all tied with "CORR: D'ARMEES/SHANG-HAI/26 MAI 97" double-ring d/s, on reverse with large sender double-ring and Marseille arrival dater. Cover with few little stains, but still good.

1899, Envelope from a German sea-soldier bearing a German 10 Pf. stamp sent with cds "TSINTAU 1/2 99" to Weingarten, Germany with b/s arrival 11.3.99. The single franking of 10 Pf. was the FIRST DAY of a special rate for soldier-letters since 1.2.1899, the usual postal rate for letters to Germany was 20 Pf. until the 1th May of 1899, then the postal rate was reduced for all letters.
