Kelleher and Rogers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daniel F. Kelleher auctions, America’s oldest philatelic auction firm, proudly announces their Fall 2017 sale to be conducted at the firm's new Hong Kong offices located at 1802 Perfect Industrial Building, 31 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong, Hong Kong on November 17-18, 2017. The two day sale will feature over 800 lots.

Day one consists of stamps, postal history and collections of China, from the Municipal Posts through the Imperial issues and continuing on through the Republic era, Provinces, Occupations, Taiwan and the People's Republic .

Day two consists of non-China areas of Asia, including Japan, Indochina, Korea, Laos,Thailand and Vietnam.

Our current auction will be held 17-18 November 2017 in Hong Kong. The two day sale will feature over 800 lots.

Day one consists of China, including stamps, postal history and collections, ranging from Imperial issues including Local Posts through Republic issues, Taiwan and the People's Republic.

Day two consists of Hong Kong, including specialized sections of cancellations and Treaty Ports, followed by Japan and other Asia countries.

Important note: the buyer's premium for this sale is now 20%. However there is a 2% discount from the hammer price if payments reach us within 15 days after the sale date.

The two day sale will feature nearly 900 lots.

Day one begins with a wonderful array of stamps and postal history from the Municipal Posts through the Imperial issues and continuing on through the Republic era into Provinces, Occupations and Foreign Mail. China proper includes many collection lots along with excellent sections of Large and Small Dragons, Red Revenues and Dowager issues etc. There is a selection of rare Tibetan documents. Taiwan follows, then PRC including a rare full sheet of the 1980 Year of the Monkey Stamp, plus a gorgeous selection of modern stamp artwork.

Day two consists of non-China areas of Asia, including extensive Japan, also Indochina, Korea, Mongolia and Thailand, plus the Norman Jacobs Collection of South East Asia, including proofs and rare original artwork.

The two day sale will feature over 1,100 lots.

Day one begins with a wonderful array of stamps and postal history from the Municipal Posts through the Imperial issues and continuing on through the Silver Yuan era into Provinces, Occupations and Foreign Mail. The Shanghai Large Dragons are a definite highlight, with a splendid array of rarities. China proper includes many collection lots along with excellent sections of Large and Small Dragons, Red Revenues and Dowager issues etc. Taiwan follows, and includes many of the sought after sets. Our current auction will be held 13-15 November 2015 in Hong Kong. The two catalog sale will feature over 2,000 lots.

Day one begins with a wonderful array of stamps and postal history from the Municipal Posts through the Imperial issues and continuing on through the Silver Yuan era. The Shanghai Large Dragons are a definite highlight, with a splendid array of Rarities, most notably two used examples of the elusive printing 37 variety, of which only 5 examples are believed to exist. Many condition rarities are featured as well throughout this fine section.

China proper includes well over 75 collection lots along with excellent sections of Large and Small Dragons, Red Revenues and Dowager issues etc. Taiwan follows, and includes many of the sought after sets in large multiples or sheets. Japan and Korea each are well represented, the Korea being from the legendary "Knight" collection, whose excellent offerings of China have previously been offered by the firm.

Catalog number 2 will be solely dedicated to the issues of The People's Republic of China, and will include over 1,100 lots. This catalog begins with nearly 200 lots of the PRC Liberated Areas, including many rarities and seldom offered items. The highlight of this exceptional section is a lovely mint example of the rare 8 fen Hunan-Jiangxi Chinese Soviet Red Post issue, Yang RP 14, one of only 6 known examples, two of which reside in the Chinese National Postage Stamp Museum. Nearly 1,000 lots of the popular unified issues of the PRC follow in every imaginable form including singles, multiples, and in the desirable imprint format.

Throughout the 2 sales, a major portion of the lots are from the extraordinary "Bentley" collection of China. This quiet collector amassed a comprehensive collection spanning all eras of Chinese philatelic history from the Local Posts through extensive holdings of the PRC. The collection is presented here in its entirety.
