Carried by LAB from Cochabamba to Puerto Suarez, Condor from Corumba -Campo Grande-Tres Lagadas Rio-Bahia-Recife, Graf Zeppelin to Friedrichshafen. This was the last flight SA zeppelin flight when permission was given for Bolivian material to be carried using Bolivian stamps for postage. Price: £50.00

21 1926 oct. 11 17/05/1928 F/F from Buenos Aires to Montevideo, bs 17/5, by Aeroposta Argentina, registered (label) cover franked 5c postage, 20c registration and 25c airmail (airmail rate 5c per gram), canc 'Via Aerea/17 May 28/Buenos Aires, ms 'Via Aerea'. Prior to the opening of the Buenos Aires-Asuncion service Aeroposta Argentina began this service between Buenos Aires and Montevideo, across the River Plate. Scarce. Price: £75.00

Most covers were flown to USA and South America. Only 19 flown to Cristobal, not known how many were carried to Canada. Immaculate and scarce. Price: £125.00

Note use of Argentina's first airmail stamps to pay the 18c rate (x5) to Europe via West Africa. CGA to Natal then by fast 'Aviso' from Natal-Dakar, then flown Dakar-Toulouse by Aéropostale. 26 1926 oct. 11 19/02/1930 NYRBA F/F, Buenos Aires to Miami, no arrival ds, pale blue/grey NYRBA in arrow company cover and printed "Via NYRBA Aerea", addressed to addressed to Miss Eva Grooch (the pilot's sister), franked 10c, 15c airs, canc Aeropostale BA cds, framed Nyrba/Argentina-Estados Unidos flight cachet. Signed by the pilot, WS Grooch. Grooch piloted the plane to Santos where it was damaged whilst landing in heavy seas in the dark. Price: £85.00

29 1926 oct. 11 09/09/1931 Registered pre-printed Aeropostale envelope postmarked Buenos Aires September 9, 1931 (the flight left on September 12) addressed to The Hague (Netherlands) with arrival b/s September 21 and transit b/s Paris September 20th. Cover sent by a stamp dealer with EXCEPTIONAL FRANKING consisting of Scott C30, C31, C32, C33 and C34, that is the complete set of airmail stamps overprinted “6 September 1930-1931” for the first anniversary of the 1930 Revolution. This set is catalogued £100 + used (much more on cover). Price: £75.00

31 1926 oct. 11 07/04/1932 PANAGRA, unusual West coast airmail, Buenos Aires (Oliva) to North Dakota, bs 7/4, via Cristobal 10/4 and tlanta 12/4, registered (label) cover franked 5c postage, 5c regn, $1.70 airmail, large red "Oliva" hs, ms 'Via Aerea/Certificada', great routing.. It is unusual to find mail sent by the West coast route from Buenos Aires from the late 1931 onwards. Price: £30.00
32 1926 oct. 11 19/11/1932 Compagnie Generale Aeropostale, Buenos Aires to Prague, Czechoslovakia, bs 30/11, Erwin Schnabel printed red 'Via Aerea' reghistered (label) cover franked $2.33 inc $1.98 airmail (11 x18 =198), canc Via Aerea/Buenos Aires cds, typed 'Via Aerea/Certificado'. Franked with the 2P Anniversary of the Revolution which is scarce on cover. CGA to Natal then by fast 'Aviso' from Natal-Dakar, then flown Dakar-Toulouse by Aéropostale. Letter weighed 12g x8 =216. Uncommon destination. Price: £20.00
33 1926 oct. 11 13/01/1934 South Atlantic airmail. Registered (label) imprint etiquette commercial air cover from Buenos Aires to Vienna, bs 22/1, also Wien Flugpost 22/1 and WienTelegraphenamt 22/1 cds's, franked 2.35P. Flight dates suggest air by CGA to Natal, then "Aviso" to Dakar, then air AF/DLH. Price: £5.00
34 1926 oct. 11 26/02/1938 PANAGRA East coast service, Los Cocos to Jamaica, no arrival ds, via Buenos Aires, 26/2, attractive red/dark blue/pale blue "Via Panagra o Panair/Pan American Airways System" cover, franked 1.45P. Uncommon origin/destination. Price: £12.00
35 1926 oct. 11 14/11/1940 Argentina to Spain, flown by LATI, a scarce censored WWII registered (label) airmail cover, Buenos Aires to Barcelona, franked 1P 15c, canc Buenos Aires, 14 Nov 40 cds, typed 'Via Condor LATI', green boxed Spanish Barcelona Censurado censor mark verso. Air France stopped its South Atlantic service in July 1940. Pan Am Southern trans Atlantic flights only bypassed the UK Bermuda censor between March and September 1940, so not flown by Pan Am. Carried by Syndicato Condor to Rio, then by LATI all the way to Seville thus avoiding the British censorship on the Pan Am North Atlantic service. The LATI rate to Spain likely to have been less than that to Germany/Italy (1P 45c) since Rome is 1000 miles beyond Seville, and Germany some 500-700 miles beyond that. But, at present, there are too few Argentina-Spain covers known, to be certain. Slight rough opening along rh edge. A truly scarce LATI item. Price: £45.00
36 1926 oct. 11 11/12/1940 Argentina to Denmark, flown by LATI, scarce censored WWII airmail cover, Buenos Aires to Copenhagen, franked 1P 20c, canc Buenos Aires, 11 Dec 40 cds, sealed German black/white OKW censor seal, code e (Frankfurt). Under franked by 20c, the correct rated for LATI to Europe was 0.20P basic + 1.25P air fee, see Beith p41. No Bermuda censor and franking confirms not flown by Pan Am. Carried by Syndicato Condor to Rio, then by LATI all the way to Rome thus avoiding the British censorship on the Pan Am North Atlantic service. No Danish censor because Denmark was under German occupation at that time. Price: £40.00
37 1926 oct. 11 28/11/1941 Panagra/North Atlantic Air Service, Buenos Aires to England, no arrival ds, censored airmail cover franked 1.70P, ms "Via New York/via North Atlantic Air Service/Panagra Exclusivamente", sealed British Caribbean OBE #1850 censor tape. Price: £10.00
38 1926 oct. 11 15/05/1946 B.S.A.A. first flight Buenos Aires to London, no arrival ds, airmail registered label (#176909) cover, addressed to Frank Edwards, London, franked 85c, canc Buenos Aires - date unclear, typed "Inauguration de la Linea Buenos Aires-Londres/Per la Compania British American irways Limited". Although the postmark is unclear there is no doubt that this cover is a first flight, being one similar in every way to one sent in a batch sent to Frank Edwards.
