EGYPTIAN POST OFFICES IN THE TURKISH EMPIRE. Metelino. The Egyptian post office in Metelin was opened on 14-7-1870 and closed on 30/06/1881. Small collection of 27 stamps cancelled with "V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE*METELINO" in black or blue colour. Very difficult to be collected. F-VF. RR.
