1944 (ca), "Emergency money", "destroyed monuments", 20 c, 25 c and 50 c encased in similar coloured cardboard cases with "Pelletteria Ciocatto" advertisement for umbrellas, trunks & suit cases. These stamps in cardboard enclosues were used as money due to lack of regular coins. Rare.
